The final logo for Cooloola Eco Tours draws from the Nautilus Shell as it is the symbolic cultural connection to Rainbow Beach. In years gone by from Fraser Island to Noosa and west to the watershed were the Dulingbara, (people of the Nautilus shell). The shell was used by the Dulingbara forebears as an important ceremonial adornment for tribal leaders and a valuable item of trade between the coastal Budtjala and inland clan groups. This illustration of the Nautilus Shell has been manufactured into its simplest form creating a bold and symbolic representation of the core structure of the shell. The illustration use positive and negative space to create movement and can also be seen as a wave. The typography has been customised to drawn on aspects in the logo creating synergy through the entire design.
